Plasticolors

Colormatch® CM Series and Chromoflo® CF Series of pigment dispersions for thermoset polyester applications contain organic and inorganic pigments dispersed in monomer free, unsaturated polyester carrier resins. These resins have been selected for excellent compatibility with a variety of polyester molding systems.

 

Colormatch® CM Series is our standard line of polyester-based pigment dispersions. Benefits include high pigment-loading and excellent color control.

 

Chromoflo® CF Series formulated for lower viscosity with high pigment concentrations.  Viscosity can be controlled to meet requirements. Suitable for pumping and metering in automated systems. Benefits include excellent color control as well as easy handling and faster blending.

 

Colormatch® PV Series product line is pigment dispersed in a styrenated resin that has been pre-promoted. It is designed to perform as a veining color. A special emphasis was placed on developing dispersions that are suitable for use in automated casting equipment.

 

Applications for Plasticolors’ polyester dispersions include, but are not limited to: Pultrusion, Sheet Molding Compound (SMC), Bulk Molding Compound (BMC), and Cast Polymers, such as cultured marble and solid surfaces.

 

Plasticolors’ ColorPak color chart offers a large palette of Standard Colors in the above chemistries.  Custom Color Matching services are available by our color technologists and when required, on-site matching can be done by our Technical Service Team.
